Great care has been taken while planning and designing the school premises taking in account the special needs of our cherished students. Special
measures for student safety have also been taken to keep the premises
The classrooms have been furnished according to children physical size and
needs. Each classroom is equipped with a white board to avoid chalk dust.
Efforts have been made to provide students with an environment conducive
to learning and at the same time maintain a comfort level of the students.
As reading is considered to be the best way of learning, hence AFSS has
provided its every campus with well stocked libraries where students can
nurture their reading habits.
A state-of–the-art computer lab at the school provides an opportunity to
learn and enhance IT skills of students. A trained computer teacher has
been deployed specifically for the best supervision and guidance to
The schools have their own well equipped science labs under the supervision
of experienced teachers assisted by lab in-charges. These facilities enable
the students to gain expertise in practical skills.
A tuck shop/ canteen is available in the schools providing refreshments to
the students at economical rates. The food items are routinely monitored to
ensure hygiene and quality.
The classrooms at every campus are provided with cooling and heating facilities to provide students a comfortable environment.
Vising the School
Prospective parents wishing to visit the school are shown around the premises upon the prior appointment with the Principal through the school office. The parents’ walk-around of the school is conducted by the selected staff.
Excursion / Trips
Educational visits are arranged to places of interest and are planned to extend and enrich the curriculum. During every school year, pupils visit local places of interest as well as to other educational sites relevant to the curriculum.
Maintaining Good Behaviour
The school sets out to create a caring atmosphere where children are encouraged to develop their natural talents and abilities. High standards of behavior and respect for others are expected.
The agreed system for managing pupils’ behavior is based on a clear and simple set of rules, rewards and consequences. It is based on the premise that each child accepts responsibility for their own behavior choices. Our role as parents and adults within the Air Foundation School System community is to work together to help children make the right choices about their behavior.
